No. The consultation is a paid, private session with the surgeon — not a sales call. The fee is credited back to your surgical package if you decide to move forward with surgery at GOG.

Most international patients stay 5 to 7 nights total: 1 night in hospital after surgery (included in the surgical package) and 3 to 5 nights at a partner hotel during initial recovery (hotel cost is separate and not included in the package). We coordinate transfers and accommodation booking with companion rates available.

Surgeon fees, anesthesia, hospital stay (1 night), pre-op labs and imaging, all post-op meds for hospital stay, multidisciplinary consults (nutrition, psychology, internal medicine) and the 12-month remote follow-up. Flights and hotel are separate, though we coordinate booking.

Citizens of the US, UK, Canada, EU, Australia and most Latin American countries enter Colombia visa-free for up to 90 days. We send a customized travel checklist after your consultation.

Scheduled virtual consults at months 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 with the bariatric surgeon and the multidisciplinary team. Includes nutrition plans, behavior support and labs review using a local provider in your country.
